Liquid Motion Film screens 'The Reef Series' and lectures to perhaps the most critical audience yet...
May 2005, London

Invited to London and surrounded by some of the highest levels of talent in the industry, Liquid Motion Film were made fully welcome by 'The British Society of Underwater Photographers' in a rewarding evening of film screening, lecture and presentation. Guy spoke of the parallels, differences, techniques and virtues of filmmaking versus photography and the ways to truly capture marine life behaviour and the evening led to new acquaintances and a great level of praise from those who are permitted to be most critical.

The British Society of Underwater Photographers, with over 300 members, was co-founded by Meetings Secretary Colin Doeg and Peter Scoones, a core BBC wildlife underwater cameraman in 1967.

"Everyone was fascinated by your films and I am sure learned a lot" commented Mr Doeg afterwards. "The number of members talking to you in the interval and at the end was a clear indication of the interest and enthusiasm you generated".

"Not only were the films well-constructed, but they contained absolutely remarkable footage of Guy interacting with the fish. The commentaries were also well-geared to a general audience. I am sure that when the series is completed you should have a ready sale for them."

Mr. Colin Doeg, BSoUP Co Foundator

For our part, we were honoured to be invited, appreciated and made so welcome by such highly talented individuals and eminent professionals. Our thanks entirely.
