BERMUDA, October 2006: THE HEADLINES
'Protecting Wildlife is about Changing its Portrayal', '21st century Cousteau's to host BIOS film evening', ''The Reef' Series: Underwater Intelligence', 'Films put reefs in the spotlight' and 'Our Intelligent Fish' were the headlines of Bermuda's leading newspapers last week when, in an amusing cocktail of paparazzi, press, globally leading Scientists and highest Government officials, underwater nature lovers piled into Bermuda's City Hall Theatre, for a VIP screening of 'The Reef' Series.

Guests of honour invited by the prestigious 'Bermuda Institute of Ocean Science' (BIOS), Liquid Motion Film were there to host the evening. A Q &A panel followed the successful screening, with Liquid Motion and BIOS key Scientists discussing questions about the Marine Environment. Inspired by the films that Marine Life is worth saving, Ministers of Education, the Environment, Bermuda's elite and top Government Officials requested more information, and have since approached BIOS for new policy feedback.
"I've heard a lot of positive feedback about the screening and we have since been asked to comment on marine resources review papers by the Government" says BIOS key Scientist Dr. Samantha De Putron, "Officials in the audience want BIOS feedback and our involvement with new policy issues. It's all thanks to the coverage on your films".
